Lookman K. Odejobi, MD, FACP

Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Dr. Lookman OdejobiDr. Lookman Odejobi earned both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Ilorin in Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria, followed by post-graduate fellowship education in Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Odejobi then came to the U.S. in 1990 to complete his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he was chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Odejobi established his private practice in 2000. He is also actively involved in teaching, currently serving as a preceptor for nurse practitioner programs at Monmouth University, The College of New Jersey, and Rutgers University. He also held an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia for several years.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Odejobi is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the West African College of Physicians and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

Dr. Odejobi participated in a medical mission to Nigeria in 2014. He enjoys volunteering and fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Dr. Odejobi also enjoys jogging, running and reading.

Quyen Tran, DNP, APN-C

Quyen L. TranAs a board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, Quyen Tran has experience in primary care, hospital, rehabilitation, and nursing home settings. She joined Dr. Odejobi at Atlantic Shore Medical in 2014 as an advanced practice nurse (APN). Quyen believes strongly in a proactive approach to healthcare, and she routinely speaks to her patients about proper nutrition, healthy eating, and physical activity to prevent disease.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2006, Quyen worked as a registered nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in the medical-surgical unit from 2007 to 2011. Quyen joined the cardiac surgery step-down unit in 2011, a position she still holds. In 2008, she returned to school to pursue a doctor of nursing practice (DNP), followed by a master’s degree in nursing, specializing in adult-gerontology primary care. Quyen is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Quyen enjoys volunteering at her church, bicycling, fitness, proper nutrition, and is interested in taking a proactive approach to disease prevention.
